OB1 Technology

OB1 is based upon a highly innovative and patented technology we call CogEye™. Video signals from six independent and fixed position HD cameras are combined in real-time to create a live panoramic video image. It is from this amalgamated panoramic video image that the operator then interacts to create the finished live production.

OB1 Production

The system uses a unique and highly intuitive interface, where the operator can view a real-time panoramic video of the entire field of play. Within this panoramic view, a view-finder box highlights the area of interest which in turn represents the video output from the production. The operator can translate and re-size this box to mimic or emulate the physical pan, tilt and zoom functions of a single physical camera. They are also able to pre-select cut-shot angles, produce action replays and apply overlay and virtual graphics onto the production.
In essence, the one operator can produce an entire multi-camera, broadcast quality graphics production, ready for air on an IP platform of choice.

With the built-in capability to encode the output video in Flash, Windows Media or other common streaming formats, the OB1 represents a turnkey solution for sports webcasting.
